JOB TITLE     

Lead Chalet Host

EMPLOYMENT BASIS 

• Monday 1^st December 2025 – Wednesday 22^nd April (exact dates to be confirmed)
• 43 hours per week over 6 days, split roughly as follows:
  30 hours: fixed chalet duties (hosting, cleaning, changeovers, etc.)
  13 hours: flexible administration, concierge work & operational work

SALARY & PACKAGE

• Monthly NET wage circa €2,200. (This is the industry standard wage in line with the Austrian collective agreement).
• Statutory health insurance & holiday pay
• Subsidised accommodation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A hands-on, guest-facing role combining in-chalet duties (hospitality, housekeeping & cooking) as well as operational responsibilities (concierge, administration and managerial duties).

Our Chalet Host will work independently with with trust, autonomy and professionalism. They will provide the day-to-day running of the chalet as well as taking responsibility for all operational duties outside of the in-chalet hours, such as guest correspondence, concierge services, budgeting, and administration.

They will understand that they are working for a small, owner-lead company and have a desire to represent the St Anton 365 brand at all times with their passion for hospitality, love of the mountains, and knowledge of St Anton.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Breakfast preparation and Hosting:

• Prepare & serve daily breakfast (continental buffet & hot special’)
• Welcome guests to provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere
• Share your expert knowledge of both St Anton and winter sports to enhance their stay.

Housekeeping and Chalet care: 

• Daily housekeeping service to a very high standard. 
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
• Managing, washing and ironing linen.
• Snow & ice clearing. 

Operations, Concierge & administration:: 

• Managing pre-arrival guest correspondence via email  & making bookings (ski schools, restaurants, lift passes, activities, transfers, etc.)
• Managing shopping, supplies, and weekly budgets
• Complete basic administration including emails, invoicing, and accounts.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidates will:

• Hold an EU passport or an Austrian working visa. Please note that we CANNOT accept UK Passport holders without an existing work permit / residence card.Have previous winter season experience in a chalet setting.
• Have proven experience in high-end hospitality (including housekeeping), preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Hold administrative and operational skills.
• Be computer literate in order to complete basic accounting, invoicing & emailing duties.
• Have basic cooking skills.
• Be confident working alone—independent, self-motivated, highly organised & proactive.
• Be a passionate skier / snowboarder. Knowledge of St Anton is paramount in order to provide concierge advice and services.
• Be available for the whole season, dates as specified.

TRAINING:

The successful candidate will work alongside Carly until confident enough to manage the role independently. There will be ongoing support offered throughout the season.

COUPLES:

While this is primarily a solo position, we may consider employing a couple. One person would take the full-time Chalet Host role, while the second could assist part-time with changeovers and cover the host’s day off.
